When you get your wisdom teeth out, you might be worried about one thing: the pain. While your oral surgeon should provide you with ice packs and pain medication, you might want to prepare a solution for when you run out of ice.
The good thing about the ice packs provided to you is that they will be flexible and moldable, which means they will conform to your cheeks and not poke into your face. But how do you recreate that yourself? Follow the DIY recipe below!
3 cups water
1 cup rubbing alcohol
2 quart sized Ziploc freezer bags
Mix ingredients and pour into the freezer bag. You can also add food coloring if you want! Seal the bag and place inside the other bag before placing in the freezer. When the mixture is frozen, it will be very cold but will still be moldable, so you can comfortably use it to soothe your wisdom teeth pain.
